Conrad Swart came highly recommended to restore the fretted archway of a heritage-listed building in Minlaton, and he did not disappoint. The project was thoroughly researched and well planned from the outset. His team were a pleasure to deal with—clear in communication, respectful of the site, and meticulous in their workmanship. Impressively, everything ran to schedule. One of the standout details was the careful removal, duplication, and replacement of the original lettering on the arch. At one point, I almost questioned the shape of the letter “S,” thinking it looked slightly off—but when I examined a photograph taken nearly 100 years ago, it was absolutely identical. That level of accuracy speaks volumes about Conrad’s commitment to heritage integrity. The work of his team is on display at the Minlaton Oval Heritage building.
